Denise Wauters is the perfect blend of marketing creativity and media science. A perpetual entrepreneur, Denise thrives on the many challenges presented by the diverse set of organizations she has served during her 30-year career—everything from corporate giants and politicians to non-profit organizations, artists and artisans. Denise started her career creating marketing departments for major corporations. After returning to school in Charlotte, NC, to add design elements to her skills, Denise graduated with an advertising and graphic design degree, therefore completing the circle of advertising and marketing.
Denise’s ongoing work as a trainer has contributed to her collaborative spirit. She has taught public school and college students as well as college teachers and members of the corporate sector—everything from basic computer skills and Adobe’s creative suite to HTML, WordPress, self-promotion and design.
One of the benefits of working with Denise is the extensive long-term, ground-level partnerships she has developed with industry leaders like Google, Constant Contact, GoDaddy and many others. In addition, Denise was personally trained by a former fortune 500 marketing executive who advised Google during the initial development of search engine optimization. The education Denise received is vital in understanding the internet in ways that most do not. More recently, Denise completed her AdWords Certification to include display, shopping and search advertising. She is also certified in Google Analytics.
